Opulence Transport provides private chauffeur journeys across Manchester & Liverpool. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you enquire, book or contact us, how we use it and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We only collect information that we need in order to quote for and deliver a journey.

• Contact details: your name, email address and phone number.
• Journey details: pickup and drop-off addresses, dates, times, passenger and luggage numbers, flight numbers and any special requirements you tell us about.
• Correspondence: messages you send us by form, email, phone or WhatsApp.
• Technical data: basic information such as your browser type and pages visited, collected to keep the website secure and working correctly.

How we use your information

• To prepare a quote and respond to your enquiry.
• To arrange, confirm and carry out your journey, including passing the necessary details to the assigned chauffeur.
• To take payment and keep accounting records.
• To contact you about a booking, for example a change to a pickup time.
• To meet our legal, insurance and licensing obligations.

Legal basis for processing

We process booking and enquiry information because it is necessary to take steps at your request and to perform our contract with you. We process a limited amount of information for our legitimate interests in running a safe and reliable service, and some information because we are legally required to keep it.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where it is necessary to deliver the service:

• The chauffeur assigned to your journey.
• Service providers who host our website, deliver our email and process payments.
• Professional advisers, insurers or authorities where we are required to do so by law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to 12 months. Booking and payment records are kept for six years to meet accounting and tax requirements. After those periods the information is deleted or anonymised.

Keeping your information secure

Access to booking information is limited to the people who need it to deliver your journey. Information is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with reputable providers.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask us to transfer it to another provider.
